Frog

A flash of green appears
from where it was hiding
on the speckled granite.
So small that it was threatened
to be washed away into the
cold lake water.
It waited there,
watching the island closely,
until a sudden motion;
a surprise;
scared the frog and it leaped back to where
it came from.

This was taken in Georgian Bay, at a wonderful island.
